about baseball. Tanner Halk, does he still deserve the ace is going to ace tag? I don't think so.

Six innings, four and runs, 10 hits, three walks, and two strikeouts in at Cores yesterday. cores yesterday and watched all of this. He really had just one bad inning. But I watched a lot of

it and it was just like, yeah, you're not really that precise with everything that you're doing.

He's throwing a lot of strikes as he has before. He got a little bit singled out at his

cores, etc. But he has a really amazing ERA and whip, except that his last six starts prior to this

one, by the way,

was a 422 ERA, 134 whip and a 20% K rate across six starts.

His slider and his sinker both have ICR rates, that is ideal contact rates above 40%

this year.

And he doesn't have actually a single pitch, believe it or not, above a 14% swing strike rate.

That's right.

The slider is more of a called strike pitch, and the splitter doesn't eclipse 14%.

That to me is really your showcase of, hey, Tanark is good.

He's going to be consistent with one.

I think that this is a valley of the year. It's not like all of a sudden he's going to be this 4. I think that this is a valley of the year.

It's not like all of a sudden he's going to be this 4 plus E rate and 1.30 whip guy.

But he isn't an ace. He isn't that guy that you think, okay, cool, I'm going to be likely putting Halk away from tier two, the end of tier two right now,

and putting him into tier four where the Hollies are.

Maybe even tier five actually of Hollies as opposed to tier three.

I know it's not like gradual drop.
