0:37.0	The Braves made it official on Monday, placing Ozzy Albies on the I.L. with his wrist fracture
0:40.9	and calling up Prospect Nacho Alvarez Jr. Alvarez made the start on Monday, hitting second,
0:47.1	and going 0 for 4 with a strikeout. The Braves made another surprising move, though, on Monday,
0:52.4	signing Witt Merrifield to a major league contract.
0:55.3	Weirdly enough, though, before the game, Marifield was taking ground balls and took a ball off his throwing hand and had to be evaluated by trainers.
1:01.3	After the game, the test revealed no fracture, and Whitmerfield is day-to-day.
1:06.3	Elyte White was optioned to AAA while Forrest Wall was DFAed. It'll be interesting to see if Merrifield's just a bench piece or if he starts eating

1:16.8	Jason Vossler, the Seattle Mariners, was recalled from AAA on Monday while Ryan Bliss returned
1:20.9	to AAA.
1:22.3	Vossler was hitting 289 with 20 home runs and four stolen bases over 89 games at AAA.
1:27.9	Initially, Tyler Locklear was supposed to be the regular first base when Thai France
1:31.2	DFAD, but it appears Vossler will get the first crack at first base.
1:36.0	In a very surprising bit of news on Monday, James Paxton was DFAed by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
1:44.5	Paxton has a 443 ERA with a 546 Sierra over 18 starts and a 4.1% K to walk.
