And today we're going to talk about the Chicago Cubs, which is super fitting that I waited as long to do this.

I was actually waiting to put out this rotation piece and this podcast until the Tyone podcast came out.

hour and a half of me talking to James and Tyone about his approach, his entire season. I could

have had the one-on-one interview with him for so much longer, and then we

went into the game instead. We had to watch six innings of him dominating the dimebacks with

this beautiful down-and-away cutter. Check out that video. Tyone is the best. I really just, I love

talking to him. I have such a fun chemistry with him and on the same page about a lot of stuff.

And really, really suggest go listen to that one. It just gives you so much insight to what

it's like to being a starting pitcher. And also how you shouldn't really be judging a guy just

from a season from the numbers. And we're going to talk about the entire Cubs rotation today.

I might as well just talk about tieout first, even though he's not going to be the SB1 on this team.

I really want to look at that 202023 season of 484 ERA and a 128 whip, 21% K rate, 154 innings,

and to really not let that judge who we think Tyone is.

Because that was so illuminating in this podcast and this conversation with him.

Who Tyone was last year is not who we're going to see in 2024.

It should be better.

ICR was 40%, which isn't good.

And there are many reasons to truly believe that he will be a better pitcher.
