Hey everyone, and welcome back to Power Hour, the Athletics Tuesday National College

Football Pod, hosted by yours truly, Nicole Auerbach, and I am thrilled to be joined by my friend

and colleague at stadium Michael Fowder. And Fowder, we have some unfinished business.

Yeah, we do. Listen, we got it, listen, we only got halfway through, so let's get through the rest of it.

I don't want to eat up everybody's time with my weird anecdotes, although when we ever, when we talk about East Carolina, we will do that.

Outside of UNC, I've seen more ECU games than probably any other football team because my parents

both went there okay well we can get into all your weird anecdotes at that point we that's that's what

we come for um but we are going to do part two of for better for worse and so if you did not listen

to part one i would recommend scrolling back on the podcast feed and listening

to that from last week. But basically the premise here is we are going to run through a bunch of

programs, sort of stream of consciousness, so we'll see how it goes. But we're going to try to go

leak by league a little bit and then, you know, some upstarts, some weird programs. And we're going to basically

be looking at how a program was when we first became aware of them in childhood, in our,

you know, as we became our formative sports fan years. But basically we're kind of talking

about like 2000-ish, 1990 to 2000 2000 and we'll go in both directions because

we've got a little bit of an age gap but we're talking about when we first you know we're aware of

certain programs and the prominence in college football certain star players national championships

declared one whatever it might be compared to how they are now in the state of the program,

what is achievable, what is success.

Things are different for different programs.

This is a regional sport.

This is a very specific and weird sport.
