I'm Jonathan Ellsworth, coming to you from Girdwood, Alaska, and you can check out everything

But right now, our business is powder skis because we've been

doing a bunch of powder skiing with our reviewer and my good friend Paul Forward right here

on his home turf in Girdwood, Alaska. We've been skiing Alieska Resort. We've been snow cat skiing

with Chugatch Powder Guides and we've even been in the heli. So we thought this would be a very

appropriate time to sit down with Paul and discuss some of the different skis that we've been

skiing on this trip,

and also to talk a bit about some skis that are kind of in the works, some new designs.

And also, a proud moment for me,

I got Paul excited about a new description of a snow type.

For the first time ever, ladies and gentlemen, you're going

to be introduced to creme brulee crust. So you heard it here first? I think, I don't know,

actually write us if you think you came up with that term before me, but yeah, we're talking

powder skiing and creme brule crusts here on Gear 30.
