I'm John Bachelord, the turmoil in Washington over the candidacy of Donald Trump to be re-elected

President of the United States, now involves prosecutors, indictment, saligations, and the

promise of complete intervention in the Republican primary process by law courts and insistence

on silence and unknowns.

The idea that you practice partisanship by criminalizing your opponent.

I welcome Conrad Black, writing most recently from the National Post, he's a distinguished

biographer, for including a biographer of Richard Nixon.

And if I read his most recent column, which I recommend to everyone, that is here, the

column is here in the 21st century, but there's a moment where we're in the 20th century,

and it is 1972 and 1974, Richard Nixon is re-elected, and the Congress, led by the Democrats

in the Congress, began a process that I believe Conrad now regards as the criminalization

of your political opponent.

Conrad have I identified in your column where it started, the persecution of Richard Nixon.
