colleague Thaddeus McCutter a recovering politician, he writes at American

Greatness, observing the campaign, observing Trump, Mr Trump, before and after the assassination

attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, the old Trump and the new Trump. That is a very good evening to you if I understand correctly from your observation.

The new Trump if it appeared if he appeared he didn't last long.

Is there a new Trump anywhere? Good evening to you.

Good evening to you, John. Yeah, there are two candidates in the race and one many

people hope would change and, many people hoped would change, and another many people hoped would change.

On the Republican side, it's Donald Trump, and in the wake of the assassination,

many of his longtime supporters the upon him more pensive, more contemplated.

And I don't think that that was the case.

As we heard reports at the beginning of the Republican Convention,

there was talk that that might happen.

But as the campaign has gone on, he remains the quintessential

Donald Trump that we've seen throughout the past two campaigns. So if there has been some type of conversion,

it hasn't manifested itself in terms of his demeanor

upon the campaign trailer or the rhetorical styles

he employs.

And that's for better for worse.

But in the end, both his critics and his supporters

would agree that Donald Trump is nothing

if not authentic.
