McCatter, former member of the United States Congress, now at American Greatness,

commenting on the news as we understand it of the President's presentation on Thursday night of his unhappiness with a report from a special

council about the documents that were kept at the

President's residence, the President's rented residence in Virginia, and the

president's offices at the University of Pennsylvania.

The many, many documents over many years, the President was Vice President and before that he was a member of the Senate.

So he for 50 years we're talking about familiarity with classified documents,

how they're to be handled, how they're to be accounted for.

And in the course of five and half hours of interviews we're told

over two days the president brought forth information that suggested to the

special counsel that a

prosecution,

prosecution, a prosecution,

a trial of the president for mishandling

willfully, was the word, mishandling documents would not come to a

conviction because the president's memory was poor, is poor, and that the jury would not fault him for not remembering why he did this

or where he put that. That was the explanation offered in the executive summary of a more than 350 page report, I believe.

That is, ever since then, there's been a lot of comment, partisan comment, by the Democrats about how this was unfair,

gratuitous, I believe is the buzzword, by the special prosecutor but I read that the

special prosecutor was charged with explaining the circumstances of the choices he was going to make, whether it was going to be
