that is McCotter of American greatness recovering politician taking its back to the

19th century early Jacksonian Democracy. That is a very good evening to you. What was

Jacksonian democracy that we can use today to understand the turmoil in the

national election? Good evening to you, John. It was really the

first wave of populism in the United States. You had essentially, after the war

of 1812, the Federalists imploded,

you had the Jeffersonian Democratic Republicans

were running the place.

Essentially, you had a unip party.

And so what happened was they got in bed with people who ran the bank of the United States,

which was the equivalent of Wall Street at the time.

And so you had the eastern establishment

locking up the commerce, locking up the government

without any real opposition to it.

This does not sit well with the people,

especially in the more the northwest territories,

northwest state, northwestern states. They were much more of a frontier-oriented

society and they felt that they were being cheated if their sovereignty was being infringed by this

cabah. Today you would use the term swamp. They believe that they were being governed

by a swampy uniparty.
