A Friday hearing in Los Angeles revealed more details from a state parole board risk assessment ordered by California Governor Gavin Newsom's office.

According to L.A. County DA Nathan Hockman, the report determined they are more likely to reoffend.

They determined that each of the Menendez brothers constituted moderate risks of violence,

which was higher than the prior determinations of low risks of violence.

Citing instances of both brothers in recent months using contraband cell phones, and also Eric being

flagged during his incarceration for possessing and dealing drugs and even helping other inmates commit tax fraud.

The report was requested as the governor considers clemency for the siblings and will be taken into consideration at their resentencing hearing, which begins on Tuesday.
