minute a former football player could soon be behind bars ke Kevin Ware Jr. has pleaded guilty to murdering

his ex-girlfriend four years ago, according to court documents. The former tight end who played for the then

Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers was indicted in June 2022 for the death of Taylor

Pomanski. They had been dating for around a year. Authorities believe that in April

2021, Ware used a knife, struck Pomansky with a blunt object, and strangled her. She was soon reported

missing by her family, but her remains weren't found until December of that year, and she wasn't

positively identified until April 2022. Besides pleading guilty to murder, Ware has also admitted to tampering with evidence

a human corpse.

He is agreed to a 30-year prison sentence.

Victim impact statements are set for Monday.
