Summary

Dr. Laura Berman led this month's Better Together Heal Event where she covered the pitfalls (and treatments) of codependence. Kev and Kelsey break down Dr. Laura's event. Why codependent love is transactional and where codependent self worth comes from. Why are we attracted to those who need taking care of? Why do we surrender our truth? What is the technique for separating from selfish people? What is the technique to attract higher beings? What is a full body Yes and how this process could cure most of your problems. Happy Saturday, Heal Squad!

Well, when you hear that music, you know, it's a potluck Saturday, people, and you know

0:15.0

what potluck Saturdays, anything can happen, that's right, but today, we had a little follow

0:22.3

up on our heel event this week with Dr. Laura Berman, she covered co-dependence and some

0:28.4

other really powerful things that Maria thought a potluck Saturday may help. So for those of you

0:35.9

who don't belong to our Patreon group, for $10 a month, we not only give you a free show every

0:44.0

week, an extra show every week, excuse me, and commercial free haul, commercial free content,

0:49.6

but we do these monthly heel events where we have world class heelers come in and just give

0:56.1

us all these amazing gifts and tools, probably cope with life, how to make life better, how to be

1:02.0

better together. And Dr. Berman was on this week, this week's heel event, and had a lot of amazing

1:11.1

things to say, really spoke to me, because I've been working with her one-on-one, and I thought I

1:15.8

agree with Maria, I think this stuff that we should probably talk a little more deeply about. So on this

1:21.4

potluck Saturday, let's cover some of the things you went over in this heel event, namely that of

1:29.0

co-dependence and the kind of people when we're co-dependent who are attracted to how we behave,

1:35.0

and then how we can change that, and then when we change that, especially with the people who

1:41.2

are attracted to it, when we change that, the new people have come in, it's really exciting.

1:46.3

Anyway, a couple of like factoids about co-dependence, if you're not familiar with it, according to Dr. Laura, you know,

2:00.2

co-dependence don't understand the nature of love that's not transactional. In other words,

2:07.0

we co-dependence only feel love when we give love or we over-deliver. That's the only way we think

2:14.2

we can get love and return, and that does give you energy in the short run, but in the long run,

2:20.2

is disastrous. We're also attracted to those we can take care of, because if they need me, they

2:28.8

won't leave me. And so when your co-dependence, your worth comes from the outside of self, not from your

2:35.8

inside of self, and then when we're co-dependent, we surrender our truth. So we do that because we
