This week's episode is a little more gritty.

It's one that I've been wanting to do for some time since the guest wrote a blog post for Mother Royalist two years ago

that has been read approximately 700,000 times in which she documented the details of her

postpartum psychosis. I first met Laura Dockler and her partner, Hugo White, when we were both

heavily pregnant with her babies, Gretta and Jett, who were due days after each other.

In the weeks followed, as I knew that Laura was reaching induction date,

I kept waiting to hear from her and waiting to hear from her,

and as time went by, I became more and more worried.

And it seems that my instincts were right,

because Laura was having a pretty rough time of it.

Not only does she have a

traumatic birth, it led to mania, delusions, paranoia, anxiety and eventually spiraled into

postpartum psychosis. Hello no Laura. Hi, Climmy. How are you? Well, I've got a stai and my, the book's

been out for nearly a week tomorrow. So actually I am

feeling so much better than what I anticipated. Actually, in a sort of way, lockdown has helped,

I think, because it's kept me really safe and meant that I've been forced to be with Hugo and Jett

in this time, which actually is the safest place probably for me to be rather than darting around

the UK. I'm just making Jets scrambled eggs and that just feels really safe. There's something really
