Welcome to Girls Camp. I'm your host, Haley Rawl and and on today's episode, it's just little old me.

I'm doing a solo episode and I'm actually really excited because I feel like we have so

much to catch up on. I've had awesome guests on my most recent

episodes and have been talking about more topic specific things, but I've had a lot of

thoughts and feelings that I've been meaning to share and just haven't had the chance to.

So we're going to do a little bit of a catch-up, a random smorgas board of things in my mind,

and then we will get into the topic for today's episode which

is parenthood and post-marmonism or more specifically motherhood and post-marmonism because I am a mom. My journey to motherhood

was quite unconventional and it overlapped in super significant ways with my faith

journey with my Mormonism and my post-Mormanism, so I have a lot to share

about all of that.

So it's General Conference Sunday.

I totally get it.

I've been there.

I don't really feel that way anymore around general conference. I feel more relieved that I don't have to

ingest all the many many general conference talks and sit through it all. I will say I always

crave a cinnamon roll on general conference weekend. I think it's part of our

Mormon DNA to have a cinnamon roll for general conference. I haven't got on

Instagram yet today but I'm sure I will see everyone eating their cinnamon rolls and
