Nick's win a game that was

perhaps a little bit more deceiving than the final score would indicate.

I should probably say what the actual final score was.

We put up 126 to 105 in what was billed nationally and locally as Victor Weniamma's garden debut.

He underwhelmed. And the reason he underwhelmed partially was due to how the Knicks played him and what the Knicks were able to throw at him, which is I don't think something that he's really seen yet in his short NBA career. We'll get to that in a bit. Interesting game, kind of a funky game. Nix obviously got out to a 13-point lead. And then the rest of the game from there was kind of like, you know, the Nix clearly should have turned this into a blowout. And then the Spurs would push back. And then the Nix would be like, okay, let me take another lead. And then the Spurs would push back. And then finally the Nix were like, all right, enough, you know, screwing around. And they went up by 30. And one last time for good measure, the Spurs pushed back. They got it to 14 points a couple times on the fourth quarter. They actually had a chance. They were on the free throw line with a chance to cut it to 12. I think it was Colvin Johnson, missed both free throws.

And then a couple guys hit some big shots to finally put it away, which again,

we'll get to those in a bit.

That was the gist of the game.
