We did a mock draft immediately after the 2025 NFL draft.

Well, a lot has changed in those five months since then.

Our first mock draft post-September

of college football and the NFL season. Yeah, no, absolutely. I think that's something that went

through my head as well. Wow, how things have changed in the first five weeks of college football,

right? Everybody wants to talk about quarterbacks every single week in the stock on them. And then

we've seen some risers already through the early season that have inserted themselves into first round or maybe even top 10 or 15 consideration. This should be fun. I think we have a handful of guys here who we still feel comfortable about from our from our mock draft way back then and even our preseason projections. But there is a lot of different names that we're going to get into, I think, especially in the back end of this first round. We got Phil Phil L in the chat saying, I better see Ruben Bain Jr. number one. We'll see. We'll see. We'll get to the mock in just a second. We'll see. But obviously, a lot to get to in this post-September mock draft. Dalton, I would be taking the odds pick, and I'm letting you choose here because I want you to pick for the Jets at number two overall. All right, right, so be it. You get New Orleans at number one, and are you, the big question for me, you know, as always what the Saints would be.

Are we assuming Arch Manning is sitting out this year? I would assume. I would assume. Okay. So, I mean, you know, you certainly, I mean, or are you comfortable enough with Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shuck? Or where are we going with this pick? Let's see it first with the Saints. I'm going here at number one overall. There's a lot of talk for a quarterback.

And Garrett Nussmeyer, obviously the son of Doug Nussmeier, the offensive coordinator of the Saints. That would make sense here. But I'm going to go with a quarterback here, not Archmanning, not Garrett Nussmeyer. So no nepotism here for the Saints. I'm going to go with who I think is right now the best quarterback in the draft, and that is Dante Moore, the quarterback out of Oregon, who was just nails in that

win over Penn State. Dalton, I looked it up a few days ago. He had 13 positively graded plays

against Penn State in that whiteout game. Nine of those 13 plays were on third and fourth down.

In the biggest moments, and one of those hostile environments in all of college football, this guy had no pulse. I think Dante Moore right now is the early favorite for me, at least, to be QB1 in the draft. I see a little bit of CJ Stroud in his game when I watch him. I've been blown away by how good he's been this year. He's right now the betting favorite to win the Heisman trophy. And I think Dante Moore could be the number one overall pick in the drafts. I'm going to go with Dante Moore, the Oregon quarterback here with that number one overall pick. Well, the Ducks just keep doing it, right? You've got Bo Nix, obviously a first round pick, franchise quarterback for now for the Broncos. You've got Dylan Gabriel starting this week for the Browns, two straight Heisman finalists. And Dante looks like he's on his way to be in a Heisman finalist again. And that game against Penn State. I mean, you talk about ice in your veins. That's exactly what you want to see from a prospect. The first few games, yeah, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, you know, those are, you know, lesser competition for a team like Oregon. But to go into Penn State and do what he did, that shows you a lot

and you feel like he's going to do it the rest of the year. Yeah, absolutely. By the way, this, draft order is based on the current draft order after the month of September. That's why the Ravens picking their number six overall. It's been a rough start for them. I don't think we'll see that number six the end of the year. But we'll see. Don't think so, but injuries are hurting them right now.
