Wednesday night as we take a look at where baseball stands with a couple of days to go.

As always, we are part of the Bet Rivers Network. And obviously, we're heading towards another big football weekend, which we'll get to.

But it has become very clear that one New York team has things breaking right for them.

And one has really things break, not only breaking barely, but just there aren't a lot of things you can look at and really hold on to right now.

Let's start with the good, and that's the Yankees who have taken advantage of this week's schedule that they played late.

They have really taken advantage of that.

I am surprised that

they are in a position to win the division. I did not think Toronto would collapse this way.

I thought the Yankees could get up to 90, 91, considering they were playing better and they

were going to face teams they could beat down the stretch.

They're right now at 90.

They've gotten a couple of breaks.

Like last night, the White Sox handed them that game.

I mean, it just absolutely handed it to them.

But that's what you expect from a team.

That's got 100 losses playing at Yankee Stadium in the last week of the season.

But right now, the Yankees, I thought the key was a month ago, could they get,

you knew they'd make the playoffs, but could they get home games?

They obviously did that.

Now they have a chance to win the division and to get a buy, which is amazing because, number one,
