Hi, Chuck.

So, I want to start with, you know, your beat every day and you're basically buried

right now in all things Ukraine, Russia. What did you hear from Jake Sullivan today that

makes you think, okay, tomorrow's story is going to be X?

I thought Jake was interesting because he was much more upfront about how clearly the

Biden administration is viewing this. When he started, when you started asking him questions

about the, you know, the, the, the briefings on Capitol Hill, the administration is done

saying that Russia is prepared. They put all the things in place that they need to do

a full-on vision of Ukraine. I almost expected him to say, well, we're not sure and walk

it back a little bit and he didn't. And the fact that he didn't, I think, speaks to

just how much certainty there is in the Biden administration that Vladimir Putin is

going to do something. It may not be. I mean, and they're saying increasingly that it looks

like it could be a full-on all the way to Kiev, topple the government type thing.

You've had been on this beat a long time. Remember the US government putting out so much

intelligence before?
