Welcome back to the latest edition of the Audible presented by Trader Joe's.

I'm Bruce Feldman, joined as always by my colleague Stuart Mandel and Stu.

We have a guest today who will have an interesting perspective on the name, image, and likeness discussion.

And that is Bubba Cunningham.

He is the AED at North Carolina where there's a lot of really good things going on.

And I'll be honest, Bubba's perspective on the NIL issue caught me off guard a little bit.

Well, I think we've been, so anything involving athletes getting paid, there's definitely

a bit of an echo chamber in our world and certainly on Twitter where you get the sense that everybody thinks that free market, whatever they're worth, the athlete should be able to get paid and et cetera, et cetera.

I don't think you would necessarily say he's against athletes making money, but he's definitely coming at it from the

perspective of somebody who works in college athletics, who's obviously a believer in the current

model and is concerned about the impact some of these changes could have if they go through.

So it's good to get his perspective on that.

And stay to the end because I think it's a little different than where, you know, I think, like I said, it kind of surprised me. It surprised me a little bit in the beginning and then it surprised me even more in the direction. It kind of went from there. Yeah. Towards the end of the interview, he says some things that you wouldn't necessarily have seen coming based on what he said

earlier in the interview.

Okay, Bruce, on Monday, I joked about it on Twitter, but it felt like good news Monday in terms

of various announcements and whatnot related to the return of sports related to possibly or relate

you know some universities announced like Notre Dame and South Carolina some more specific plans

for how they plan to reopen in the fall so how are you feeling these days about the the

two-month-long speculation about are we going to have a college football season?

It's a good question. It's a complicated question, right? So there's a couple of things that are
