| 0:14.0 | each other. Great teams value each other. And when you value each other, you recognize each other. |
| 0:22.6 | You support each other. You appreciate each other. You listen to each other. You understand each other. You may not agree |
| 0:28.6 | with everyone on your team, but you see the value in that person and who they truly are. |
| 0:34.6 | And seeing that person as a person who you value brings the relationship |
| 0:40.4 | to life and it makes you a stronger team. So the most important thing that a leader could do |

| 0:54.9 | very thing. Because once you do this thing and commit to this, every other commitment will make |

| 1:11.9 | is an exercise we call the spotlight exercise where you have a member of the team, |
| 1:18.1 | stand in front of the room or you can do this virtually. And each member of the team |
| 1:23.6 | spotlights that person and shares something positive they appreciate about that person. |
| 1:28.9 | They recognize the value in that person. |
| 1:32.3 | And when you're done, that person is filled up and so is the team. |
| 1:37.3 | Imagine if you did that once a week, once a month to demonstrate the value and recognize the value of each person, you'll become a stronger team. |
| 1:48.8 | And that's what leaders do. |
| 1:50.2 | Leaders build stronger teams. |
| 1:52.0 | And it starts with value. |
