Hello and welcome to the game theory offseason preview series of Bryce Simon and I break down the summers that are forthcoming for all 30 teams in the NBA.

Today we're up to the Portland Trailblazers. Bryce, over the last two years, you and I have done an amazing job of building up equity with the Portland Trailblazers fan base.

We loved this team late last season.

We really enjoyed them this season.

We were super excited to talk about them throughout the entirety of the year,

and really for the last like 16 months.

We have to try not to ruin that equity today. We have to try not to ruin that equity today.

We have to try not to overindulge the tendencies of a new owner that is clearly suffering from new owner syndrome.

Can we do that, Bryce?

Um, yes. I mean, I I mean, I can definitely keep things positive. There's some things I really like about this

team still. Definitely individual players I still like. I think it is an interesting

conversation in terms of where they go with the roster,

who's on it, who's not.

I mean, it is one of those things in terms of who makes sense, who does not,

where do you build this out, who are the young guys that you really want to make sure you

give time to it?

It is a fun offseason to talk about.

It is a little bit frustrating that they have a new owner that is with the way he's done

things thus far does kind of reside over the top of all of this in terms of what does

that mean?

And you always have to go back to, is this something the new owner is going to do or not

going to do or want
