Hi guys, we have a really special episode today that was so much fun and so interesting to record back at San Diego Comic-Con this past year.

First of all, sorry about the audio quality.

I'll say this, we had some issues.

The first 15 minutes or so were just recorded on my

phone, so there's a lot of echo. And then after the first 15 minutes, we actually did get a

soundboard recording, so it does clear up considerably. But you should be able to enjoy all of it.

It's, as I said, a special episode

all about pop culture witches featuring some great pop culture witches portrayers and writers,

as well as an actual practicing witch named Juliana Crouch, who was unbelievable, and this was her first

panel ever. And she spoke so eloquently and so delightfully about being a witch and what

that means. Additionally, on this panel, we have Nell Scoville, our old pal, who is the creator of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

She also wrote for two seasons on the original Charmed. We have the co-show runner of the Charmed

reboot, Jessica O'Toole. That show is premiering this fall on CW. We were also joined by the

phenomenal author, Tommy Adiemi, who has written a novel called Children of Blood and Bone, which she describes as African The Last Airbender or Black Panther with Magic.

It is, since meeting Tommy, I've gotten to read the novel.

She is a phenomenal writer and just a lovely and such a

smart person. So she has a lot of great stuff to share on this. And then finally, Ruth Connell,

the actor who plays Rowena on Supernatural. She's been in something like the past 10 years of

supernatural appearing in episodes almost every season.

And she has a great perspective on playing a witch and what it means to be a witch.
