Okay, so this is a little bit of a different one, but I feel like you guys are going to be so on board.

So essentially, I'm sure you've all seen the trend of everyone kind of posting their content from 2016

because it was seemingly such a formative year for all of us, but also specifically in pop culture,

just so much went down.

And so we figured for this week, how fun would it be to kind of go back a decade, just like transport ourselves back to that year

and relive some of the most viral, iconic, memorable, and at times niche moments?

I think what's really exciting about this episode, for me at least, is that so many of these

moments felt so major at the time. And I think we kind of completely forgot about so

many of them. And so to relive that and see all of these headlines that dominated the news cycle,

it's like a little bit of a trip. It's very much a trip. Also, let me just caveat, although if you

listen religiously, you know this. This is not some sort of

expert deep dive of every single thing that went down. No, these are the things that we are drawn to,

the things that we care about that were significant to us at the time and still are. So yes,

there are definitely more major events that occurred that may not be listed here. But this is like through the CBC lens,

you could say. And as you're listening, I'm sure you're going to think of more niche events that

also were forgotten about. Like, it's hard to sum up a whole entire year, but we did our best here.
