reading Part 3 of Pollyanna, Chapter 6 and 7 by Eleanor H. Porter. In the previous chapters, Pollyanna was introduced to her stuffy Aunt Polly and her

stuffy attic room, both of which she tried her best to remain positive about. After deciding to

climb out the window and go exploring the grounds by herself, Nancy the

maid became worried for Pollyanna and went looking for her. When she was found, Nancy learned

of the glad game that Pollyanna's father had taught her, explaining why she had been so ruthlessly positive.

After which, Nancy vowed to always play the glad game too, out of solidarity with the poor young child.

Now that we're caught up with the story so far, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
