Pandemic politics are back because the virus is back.

We're seeing spiking rates in a lot of states because despite the rapid pace of vaccinations

acts, there are a lot of people, particularly younger people who have not been vaccinated.

Though there is, I think, kind of a psychology out there that everything's fine.

That is, as our CDC director just said, a dangerous thing.

Yeah, but it also comes at a time when you got governors, particularly Republican governors,

but not exclusively opening up their states and issuing mass mandates.

And there's a lot of politics to that.

And whenever there's a lot of politics, the guy you want to talk to is Ron Brownstein,

maybe the smartest guy riding on politics today, his columns in the Atlantic and CNN are
