The Biden administration is feeling the sting of public reaction to gas prices.

Now for a long time they were almost contemptuous about this. Biden was like, you know, well, I'm not going to have fossil fuels.

I'm not going to allow drilling and in some ways to be honest, the guy did say beforehand before he was elected that he was going to do these things.

Block new oil leases. He was going to get rid of the pipeline which he did.

So in some ways, you know, people who voted for Biden are getting what they paid for. They're getting what they voted for.

Hard to feel sorry for them to that degree. It's not exactly that Biden was in secret about what he intended to do.

He did say he was going to do these things and he did do them.

But now that gas prices have gone to $4.50, $5.67 and they could go higher.

Biden is suddenly realized this is actually in a sense breaking the back of the Democratic Party,

particularly when he put it together with the broader impact of inflation, not just the gas prices going up,

but gas prices then contributing to other prices going up. And all of this being driven also by promiscuous government spending

and by the Federal Reserve just printing money.

So you think that Biden's solution would be, well, all right, listen, you know, at least temporarily,

let me open up the spigots in America. We've got a lot of oil in this country. We've got a lot of natural gas,

lots of people willing to drill it. There's lots of incentives to do it because prices are high.
