Summary

It's a whole new world where our mostly incompetent politicians need outside help to get things done like a baseball team needs a pinch hitter or relief pitcher.  Congressman Cleaver was so embarrassed in front of his fellow Tax Gone Wild Dem friends in DC that he had to broker a deal to make Jackson County spend $70 million worth of 3 year old covid money.  Oh, and Elon Musk came off the bench to shut down Congress from a pay raise filled resolution.  What clowns these bodies are.   Joe Biden is setting one land mine after another to handcuff Trump in his first few months.   Patrick Mahomes is a full go, again, at practice and we have no idea why people are talking about him NOT playing.  Travis Kelce hints at retirement on his podcast.  Jon Gruden tells a phenomenal Andy Reid story and we will play it for you.  And K-State hoops coach Jerome Tang, in KC, was in the wrong place and the wrong time to make excuses and bash his fan base.

Well, sometimes the team is really struggling.

Things are going poorly. The pitching staff's falling apart, and you've got to go to the bullpen. You need a reliever. And sometimes you make a late season trade and bring somebody in

from the outside and it can really change the fortunes of a team. I don't think that's going to

happen in Jackson County, Missouri. And I don't think that's going to happen with the United States

House of Representatives. But this is a strange week if they've both gone to the bullpen, if you will, or they've

both gone outside the organization and tapped into or signed or traded for a player to come in

and make a difference toward the end of the season to try to save the season.

We'll start in Jackson County, Missouri, where some $70.3 million given to the county by the Biden administration during

COVID expires December 31st.

They were not going to get this done.

They were going to have to give the money back or forfeit the money or not

between, and this is just Democrats, can't figure out how to spend the money.

1:22.6

If they can't agree on how to spend it, there clearly is not a need for the money.

1:28.7

There's not something dire.

1:33.0

There's not something, there's no COVID that has to be repaired with the $70 million.

1:36.8

So the whole thing is just a giant grift and scam on the American taxpayers.

1:41.9

This must be happening in a lot of places all across the country. It would be surprising for that not to be happening in other places. Kansas City can't be the only one.

1:46.6

But since Frank White and all of the great Democrats that are running Jackson County cannot figure out how to spend $70 million or lose it, Mayor Cleaver comes in off the bench.

1:57.1

They make a late-season trade for Congressman Cleaver, formerly Mayor Cleaver,
