We've got one week until Christmas at Kevin Keatsman has issues.

Happy Wednesday, everybody. We're a week out. My voice

is a little lower than normal. A little raspyer. I'm fighting a little midweek cold. My apologies.

Sometimes when this happens, people say, whoa, your voice is so much lower. It sounds so much better.

I don't know. I don't believe that. I don't really subscribe to that theory, but we'll see.

So we're going to get through this one today and deliver for you a bunch of tasty topics just in time for the holidays.

We begin with football and, of course, the Kansas City Chiefs, the big story.

One of the things I've always prided myself on with the broadcasting career working in and around sports in Kansas City, is really connecting

and understanding with what fans are thinking and how they're feeling about certain teams.

We'll get into that because we've got a lot of different teams we're going to talk about here

today to start the podcast.

But I got to tell you, this week, I'm just out of sorts.

I'm looking at polls all over the place that say,

rest my homes, don't play him, the Chiefs can beat the Texans with Carson Wins, all this other stuff.

We had our Cumulus Media radio stations party last night, and a lot of nice folks were there,

and they came up wanted to talk sports and welcomed me to the company and all those wonderful things.

And I think every single one of them asked me about my homes.

And my answer back was, well, he said today, which was yes, which was Tuesday.

He said it wasn't as bad as the injury in the Jacksonville game in the playoffs where Andy made him go in and get an x-ray and then came back in the game

and they won the game.
