John, what was it like to be rescued from that well where you were trapped for the last 28 days?

How did you feel when you got out of there?

I came back into the light blinking.

I thought Truman was still president.

I thought, why don't I come back from vacation? What is the point of that? What? You thought, what is the point of coming back from vacation? Why am I doing that? Well, to hear your voice and to be once again in community with you and David. That was really what drew me back from my otherwise completely serene existence. Well, we're really glad you're back.
