This week we're back to the classic Gab Fest crew. John Dickerson, Emily Bazelon and David Plots

have gathered in the DC.C. conference room

to discuss this week's Supreme Court decisions, Dick Cheney's attitude problems, and the final

fate of the immigration bill. And David Plots just couldn't stop hatching great story ideas.

Here's John Dickerson. Hello and welcome to the Slate Political Gab Fest.

We're all back in the conference room, which is normally a dreary place hidden from the elements.

But today, that's great because there is a massive thunderstorm going on outside.

And so if any of us expire here from a bolt of electricity...

So, our first topic is...

Wait, we want to first say that Morgan Smith, our wonderful intern, is sitting in today.

We are so excited that someone actually wanted to sit in on the Gab Fest.

Who would have thought?

Yes.

Our number of listeners has increased by 50% today.

Are you supposed to also say who we are?

I know that being away on vacation has maybe gotten you out of practice.

That's true.

That is, for those of you who don't know, that's David did your job well last week, I'm sure.
