Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham.

Life seems to be slowly returning to normal after the elongated Easter holidays.

But don't worry, there's another bank holiday coming up next Monday,

just in case anybody's getting too used to working five days a week.

The Extinction Rebellion mob seems to have wound down their climate protest.

They were all in awe of the saint from Sweden yesterday,

and they were all down at Westminster, watching all of the politicians falling over themselves, treating this young 16-year-old

girl as if she was the Dalai Lama. The police, of course, have now got to gear up for the next

big demo, which will be when Donald Trump arrived for a state visit in June. Presumably, that's when they'll all get back to normal service in the police force

after all the partying, all the dancing and all the skateboarding at the weekend.
