So my dad told me of a frightening experience he had when he was younger

My dad worked the night shift so he would always get off super late and sleep through most of the morning. On this particular day he didn't feel

awake enough to drive home from work as he lived almost an hour away. So he decided to

crash at his friend Paul's place. Paul had two boys, one older and one younger. The younger son was

away at school so Paul let my dad sleep in the younger son's room. Now Paul was very superstitious and believed in the supernatural, so much that he and his

wife would light sage and place in all the corners of the house to ward off anything evil

that may be a threat to their family. My dad had been over many

times before and didn't really think much of it so he just went into the son's

bedroom to sleep. While my dad was sleeping he had this terrible dream of a figure watching him from inside the closet.

Then was suddenly jerked out of the dream, only to find that he couldn't move.

As his vision came into focus he noticed a dark hooded

figure with bright red eyes staring at him from the corner of the closet. He

explained that he felt like he was stuck there staring at the figure forever.

Finally, my dad got the courage to move out of the room and asked the family about it.

When my dad went to talk to the eldest son about what he had seen, the eldest said that

his younger brother had seen the same figure for months.

The wife, who coincidentally was burning sage at the exact moment,

overheard the conversation and went to check the bedroom. Now remember all the corners of the house

had either sage or some kind of herb in them to ward evil things away, but there was no

sage in the corner where the hooded figure had appeared.
