Finish out the week here with point guard rankings as we look forward to doing the top 10 players in the NBA

I think it's gonna be pretty straightforward. It's really most of these guys are the engines of your offense

That is their role that you don't have as much specialization among point guards

I think once you get down, you know, maybe into the teens

Then you can start to say okay, what's more valuable a guy who can run your offense at a decent level or someone who can fit in

Shoot play defense maybe do a little ball handling next to another ball dominant start another position

Which of those has more value that becomes an interesting question

But at the top we're talking about the guys who are going to have the ball all the time generally bring the ball up and

They're gonna control things for you generally. They're gonna be smaller

Yeah, a lot of this to me is determined by whether they guard point guards is in determining who is a point guard

I mean do you want to go on some rant about primary ball handler and point guard and all that or if we do we have we had enough of those

I think we've had enough of those but there is a there is a point there though that I will make separate from that

Which is that if your point guard sized player cannot run an offense

Then you need somebody else to do it and there absolutely are players around the league now James Harden LeBron James

Ben Simmons who primarily guard other positions who who can run it off?

I wouldn't I wouldn't think of Ben Simmons actually as being able to run an offense personally, but

Yeah, maybe if you have enough shooting around it, maybe yeah, exactly

There is a conception where that would yeah, and so but basically the idea that is if you can't do that

Then to me that's a pretty significant

Dimmera there's a parallel here a little bit with the centers that can't defend where if you can't do it

Somebody else is gonna have to do it and there aren't as many players at other sizes and other positions that can and so
