Wednesday evening edition of the pod taking another chance to go back and look at our preseason predictions

0:05.9

Just more of the individual variety basically what we do on the day before the season is we do an awards pod

0:12.9

But we actually just go through and try to predict who's gonna win everything and so we have some of our own awards like

0:19.6

sophomore of the year player who most beat regression biggest surprise team

0:24.9

that we try and predict and

0:27.4

Now we are going to go back and look at those predictions and make ourselves very unhappy

0:33.9

It's certain as we always are want to do here and something

0:37.9

Let's give it a shot here. Let's start just by talking about some of the teams stuff

0:42.3

We hit on that a fair amount already in the overunders

0:46.1

But there are a few other things that that really stuck out to me in terms of my win predictions and

0:53.1

I think really one of the biggest places that I went wrong in the east was I gave Orlando to Trey

1:01.8

Chicago, Atlanta and Brooklyn too many wins and I didn't give enough to all the those six really like actual good teams in the Eastern Conference

1:12.5

Yeah, I I think that the idea of the

1:16.1

Game by game over the course of the year, you know the the the mighty beating up on the small and I mean

1:20.9

It wasn't necessarily like we were super low on I mean obviously the bucks were we're much higher on and I

1:26.6

It happened some years or just like those teams just the good teams just don't lose as much Toronto for me

1:31.6

I mean I had the I had them in 46 wins. They went went well past that and so that part of the structure the bottom

1:37.5

You know that they're not really being that second class of teams, you know being fringe playoff teams in the east was a real problem

1:44.9

And then they're not really being a third class other than teams that ended up being pushed into being pushed into the playoffs by

1:50.5

Virtue of nobody else being there and I thought in the east that was a it might have been hard to predict since some of it was injuries

1:57.0

But some of it was also not I mean Chicago did was was had some injury stuff, but not you know like as much as Detroit

2:04.9

Yeah, yeah, I mean Chicago and Detroit. I think both got blitzed pretty badly by injuries
