The simple, clear fact is that if you aren't putting your best energies into being a listing agent you will always needless struggle. Listings create leverage for your business and personal life. With Listings you can have consistent income. When you are listings focused your PROFIT will be massive vs focusing on buyers. As the new year approaches agents who aren't listing agents (or on their way to become listing agents) are fully aware of all the headwinds they will face. Many believe that buyer agent commissions will no longer be an automatic entitlement to the real estate transaction. In other words, buyer agents will have to convince their buyers WHY the BUYER should pay their commission. How many agents who are buyer transaction focused will survive when the seller isn't offering to pay their commission as has been the case for decades?
