What's up, everybody?

There is so much going on in the world lately.

I mean, there's always stuff going on, but the newsworthiness of stories has been

unusually evident recently.

When you're doing a podcast like mine, that really makes it difficult to know where

to focus.

Do I focus my attention on the torpedo that hit the crypto markets last week?

If so, where do I focus on that?

On Elon, China, US regulators?

That's three separate episodes right there.

There's also the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which is newsworthy just from a humanitarian

and political perspective.

But it's also fascinating to watch how the Israeli government and its US interest groups

have really lost control of that narrative in a way that I can't recall ever seeing

before, at least not in my lifetime.

It's also interesting to recognize that there is a huge generational gap that's opened

up between older generations and younger millennials and zoomers on this issue.

And I'm not entirely sure why that is.

I mean, some of it probably has to do with the usual appeal of pacifism to younger people.

I can certainly relate to that.

But I feel like social media is playing a much bigger role here in spreading content

that really doesn't reflect positively on the Israeli defense forces and Israeli settlement
