I'm Shane Morris, and we're here today with John Stone Street and a really special guest

to talk about the life and work of an apologetic giant, Ravi Zacharias, who passed away this

week at the age of 74.

Many of us knew Ravi as this apologist of just remarkable talent, someone who wove meaning

and truth together with these powerful

illustrations that could move people as well as inform. And as John said on Breakpoint on Wednesday,

Ravi was really someone whose life mission was to help the church think, a goal reflected in the

title of his radio program, Let My People Think, as well as in the

ongoing work of the organization that he founded Ravi Zacharias International Ministries.

And we're joined today by one of the many minds who emerged out of that ministry.

John, since you guys are friends, I'll let you introduce him.

Well, no worries.

Shane, it's amazing just Saturday or a Friday, I guess, of last week.

We were talking about Ravi because the news had come out that basically the doctors had run out of

treatment options for his longtime battle with cancer. And so we spent some time talking about that,

not knowing that God would choose to take him so soon. And many, many, many people

were in shock at that point. I think it's also important to mention too up front, Shane,

is that the motto of RZIM, which is Robbie Zacharias International Ministries, is helping

the believer think and the thinker believe. So he did want the church to think. And he also

wanted the skeptic to take Christianity seriously on an intellectual level. And that's all part of
