Welcome to another episode of Breakpoint This Week. I'm Shane Morris here with John Stone Street to talk about the stories of the week from a Christian

worldview perspective.

And for us, John, at least in the Christian worldview space, the big story of the week was also

a very sad one.

On Tuesday, Ravi Zacharias, author, apologist, and founder of Ravi Zacharias International

Ministries died of cancer at the age of 74.

And you and I had a discussion with RZAM Executive Vice President Abdul Murray, which will actually air Monday on the podcast,

where we highlight some of the things that just made Ravi Zacharias so irreplaceable and life-changing

for millions who heard his messages. And we also look forward to what's next for the

small army of apologists that he trained and left behind at RZIM. We just talked about him last

week. We talked about his sickness here on this podcast and on this weekly kind of roundup that we do

at the Colson Center. And because it was escalating quickly, and it seemed to be escalating quickly.

And, man, I had no idea it was this quickly that he was going to leave this world for the next.

It's a great conversation with Abdu.

Abdu's a good friend.

Ravi meant a lot to him as a mentor.

And I've just spent the week, Shane, really thinking about the similarities between Ravi and Chuck Colson. We joked,

you know, with Abdu about the distinct voices. You know, I was talking to somebody else this

week. Like, you know, if you were scanning across Moody Radio and you heard Chuck Colson or Ravi

Zacharias, you were not going to mistake them for anybody else. It was that. You knew first two

syllables. The first two syllables.
