It's the radio segment that starts its day off every morning with a murder hornet

You just toss a couple of those bad boys in your yogurt. You'll be buzzing till midnight.

It's Lazy Stories, the segment where we read, weird news stories from around the globe,

just like everyone else does except we have a

laser and those other yuckle puffs just don't. This first laser stories out of Hull

Iowa. There's a 70 year old guy named Peter De Yeager, and a few months ago he was charged with

two misdemeanor counts of theft and trespassing for stealing political yard signs.

Oh, man. Why?

Like, that's going to make a difference in all of this, you know?

Well, the Dickinson County newspaper had a small blurb in the last section about the crime in its police

blotter. And Peter clearly didn't want

people to read about what he'd done because he went around to different stores in

the area stealing every copy of the paper. Oh my God!

The paper is the only way people get the news these days.

If I take them all, nobody will see.

He cleared out vending boxes, stole them off news racks,

and did whatever he could to make sure no one would read his

blurb in the police blotter.

He literally goes online and tries to delete the internet.

Anyways, local businesses started reviewing their security footage they all saw it was the same guy stealing the papers and police figured it out that it was Peter
