Stephen's a guest for us today. He's got some inside information on Carolina's newest defensive

coordinator. Stephen is the senior writer for SB

but I'm going to turn it over to Greg, and you guys can have at it and take it away, Greg.

Well, Stephen, thank you for joining us.

And I think a lot of people are wondering why Stephen. And I think the answer to that is in 2016, Army entered the Navy game, having lost 14 consecutive games.

And in that game, Army won snapping that streak. And Stephen, fortunately,

was able to be embedded with Army for, I guess, a week or so prior to that game. And in that time,

was able to spend a lot of time with the entire coaching staff, including Jay Bateman, who was

defensive coordinator

for the Knights.

And so can you initially just kind of talk us through that opportunity to be able to embed

and experience such a intense robbery as that game is?

Oh, definitely.

I mean, I'll be honest with you, and I don't say this lightly.

I was actually just interviewed by a ESPN crew for a television show coming up next year, and they said,
