Summary

This past weekend North Carolina's new head football coach Mack Brown hosted the largest official visitor recruiting weekend the Tar Heels have had so far this recruiting season. On hand were many of UNC's top remaining uncommitted prospects, as well as almost all of the recruits currently committed to the Heels. The event ultimately ended up being a resounding success for the recently assembled football staff, as Carolina came away with five new commitments as of this past Sunday morning. Inside Carolina's recruiting expert Don Callahan joins host Jon Seiglie to breakdown all of the weekend's recruiting news and discuss the new future Tar Heels. 0:34.5	So I hope that everyone is being safe. But luckily yesterday turned out to be a pretty nice
0:40.6	day overall. And UNC had a huge official visit list. So man, let's start there, Dawn. Just to get
0:49.3	kind of your overall thoughts on the list, you know, a lot of them were players that are currently committed to the heels.
0:57.1	So when you saw the finalized list of guys that were on campus for the official visits, you know,
1:02.4	what was your impression initially?
1:05.0	Well, I thought it was a solid list.
1:07.6	It was good to get Henry Simmons on campus and Quadra Jackson and a few other
1:14.8	main targets. Jaden McKenzie, it was important to make sure he'd get, although I felt like he was
1:19.6	going to visit, but he made some comments that he might not actually end up visiting North Carolina
1:26.2	because of the uncertainty with the coach's deaf and everything like that.
1:29.3	So it's good to actually get him on campus.
1:31.7	But I think it was a pretty successful weekend as far as who was there.
1:36.4	The fact that the commits were there also.
1:38.6	So you're kind of finalizing everything with them, answering their questions.
1:42.0	You know, normally these are more formalities for the commits, you know, as they,
1:45.7	I guess the last step before they actually signed on signing day.
