Podcasting played nobody in the off season. Is it technically the off season?

Do we consider bowls to be the off season?

Well, you know, that's going to be most of my next three weeks is writing bowl previews,

so it's not going to really feel like the off season on my end I don't think.

That's okay. It's definitely not the regular season because I spent Saturday doing not football things and it was glorious.

I caught four and I caught the last six minutes of Army Navy and I want to start

there Bill and I want to ask you something as a statistician and a fan so you can

answer twice well I drink my coffee. Is it bad for college

football that Navy streak has gotten so ridiculous? No. Why? I think it is.

I mean people I don't think it's affecting ratings, is it?

I mean, maybe it is, but I don't think people watch that.

You know, well obviously there are people who root for Army or Navy a good portion of the people who watch watch because it's Army Navy

And as long as you know especially if you've got somebody like Keenan Reynolds when you've got exciting players involved then you know I don't

see why it would really matter who wins. Obviously you know plus streaks are good in that you know, you're going to always pay attention.

If it's going, if it's back and forth and there aren't stakes beyond, you know, two teams that are like

four and seven or something, then maybe you don't watch. But's like you know me watching the Belmont

damn stakes every single time there's a horse that's won the Kentucky Derby

and prequeness going okay now is where I see the triple crown winner and it

took like 30 years to actually see a triple

Crown winner but I watched every time so I just found myself really partisan

this year more more so than any year really like Navy really like Keenan
