Podcasting played nobody. I've beenmoaned the passing of one Vern lung quests yesterday on

Twitter and was reprimanded because he has not actually left, he's not left the earth and

were shed the mortal coil. He is simply leaving the SEC on CBS. The concept

of tolerating Danielson without burn as the as the mint wrapped around that is just

going to be terrifying. Does this have the same? For you I know it does just because

you're so embedded in all of college football but I wonder if this has the same effect when you leave

the southeastern footprint. Like do you think when you go back to home to Oklahoma people have this kind of reverence

for Verin Lelanquist?

Well, I mean you can find, during any game you can find the the grumpy crowd on

Twitter talking more about how he gets stuff wrong than you know oh he's just so

lovable I think you you kind of fall for an announcer through repetition and so if you're only watching

like one or two games a year that includes him and he gets a couple things wrong which he still doesn't get a ton wrong

I think last year was probably his worst year which makes sense but he still is not that you know he's still a pretty good announcer,

despite the, you know, outside of the personality

and everything else.

But I do think if you only get him once or twice a year

instead of like every single week,

then you're more likely to notice, well he got that player's name wrong instead of over

and how are you going to call this one?

Because I mean that's, you know, just over time if you're an SEC fan,

not necessarily Missouri fan, because they haven't had many opportunities,

but you know, if you're an Auburn fan, your memory of 2013 is completely glued to how Vern called the
