How's it going?

It's going all right.

Dude, did I tell you that?

I told you that, oh yeah, I told the story about my doctor taking me off my heart meds and stuff.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I've been thinking lately, like, you know, because I read a book on longevity, um, by a doctor named Peter Attia.

And, uh, it was, he, he uses the, the term health span a lot instead of lifespan.

You know, he's like, it's not really, he's saying it's not, you don't have to be healthy to live long now because uh because medicine can keep you

alive for an extra 10 20 years now but it doesn't mean you're healthy or that your quality of life is

good um you know or that you're living a life that somebody would want to live like it's pretty

common now that you you know feel pretty good until you're 60 or so.

And then you start kind of declining.

And then like from 70 to 80, you're pretty much just stuck in a chair watching television,

you know.

Not everybody's this way, but this is like kind of the normal progression of, you know,

humans now. And, you know, it used to be, though, you would,

you wouldn't live past 70 because you would have, you know, diabetes or cancer or whatever,

you know, but now through modern medicine, they can keep you alive quite a bit longer. You can

fight off cancer, even though it comes back later or whatever um but it just got me thinking

i've been really focused on like it doesn't have to be that way i i'm going to live however long
