This is Lorenzo and I'm your host here in the Psychedelic Salon.

0:23.5

And today we're going to get to listen to the first of the talks that I've received from the

0:28.1

2014 Plankay Norte lectures that were held at the recent Burning Man event, from which I

0:34.4

received a postcard that was sent from my dear friends Naomi and Joe,

0:38.8

who were also the last ones to send me a postcard from the playa two years ago.

about to listen to features Bruce Damer,

1:12.0

and I hope that later on you'll give yourself a little time to think about the vastly different approaches

1:18.4

1:29.1

different approaches to enhance consciousness, I do think that we should all give a little

1:33.6

thought to the spectrum that is covered between us male geeks and the Gaian view that we also

1:39.4

subscribe to. It's really interesting when you think about these different approaches to

1:44.1

altered states of consciousness.

1:46.0

To me, the most fascinating part is that, well, they all seem to get you somewhere near to the same place.

1:53.0
