Summary
In this episode of Drunk Ex-Pastors we welcome to the studio philosopher and theologian Peter Rollins, after whose Lucky Charms they always are. We discuss everything from Radical Theology to La La Land, tackling such topics as whether any of us truly knows what we believe, and whether atheism vs. theism is a false dichotomy (and on that note, you'll be surprised to hear which one of us Pete thinks believes in God the most). Pete's background in psychoanalysis will surely make everyone who listens feel like they've had a therapy session, and his accent will make you wonder if he has in fact met Bono.
Also, Pete is biebered by biebers.

| 2:37.4 | Yeah, which makes him sound even more brilliant. Well, I, we went after we interviewed him, which was last week Sunday, I think. Yeah, Sunday afternoon here in the studio. And then we went to this event at this church. It was kind of like a pub style. Yeah, I went to a church. Yeah, Christian went to a church. Yeah. And you get to tweet questions to him. Yeah. And I'm so bum that my question wasn't used because my question was, why are they always after your lucky charms? And they didn't choose it. I'm sure he never gets that ever. Uh-uh. No, it would have been hilarious. So nobody ever makes any leprechaun or lucky charing jokes with him. Yeah. No, it was fun because it was unexpected. I didn't really know hardly anything about him other than I knew you really liked him, but I've never heard him speak or read a book by him or anything, but you told me Saturday, you know, Hey, Pete Rollins is going to come do the show tomorrow and I was pretty stoked because I like him. I had a really good time. I like talking to him. Yeah, yeah. He was super cool. I mean, |
