The yeah let's get into it here on a saturday afternoon here on a saturday afternoon

you would have seen that I tweeted out a picture of my good friend Derek, who I mentioned before.

Derek, of course, is a United States Air Force parakement.

And we went through some training together way back in a day.

And Derek was the non-commissioned officer in charge or NCOIC of the Thai cave rescue that was all over the news and I was actually

hoping to get him on the podcast but he's a it was a little leery because this is such a big deal my

god you should have heard the stories that that he was telling me and the media companies involved

and there's being books written and all kinds of other stuff. Derek wasn't down

recently here for a course with the Navy and but he had a chance to come by and we hung out and it's

really always great to catch up you know with old military friends and told me some great stories

about that. Like I said, I was hoping to get him on, but it's just too much right now.

Suffice it to say, there are a lot of details that were fascinating to me, and I can't wait

to see it with the inevitable movie coming out if it's going to be portrayed accurately.

Just one little nugget, you all know, and we covered this on the podcast of the Thai Navy SEAL who died well there

was almost two of them and if it wasn't for freaking some CPR some good quality CPR and some

positive pressure oxygen ventilations we would have lost two of them but so just stuff like that

crazy stories out of there and hopefully one day I can't

get them on to get into it in more detail. Fascinating, fascinating stuff. I had so many questions.
