About a decade ago, it felt like we were in this golden age of television, with the

rise of streaming and shows like Oranges a New Black.

But now...

The model pioneered by Netflix, which was move fast, green light, dozens and hundreds

of shows without actually knowing how you're going to make money from them.

That model is largely broken.

How TV went from pretty great to not that pretty at all.
