recognise from previous podcasts, which he has hosted himself. Hello. I have. I find a disconcerting

hosting the podcast. It's like I need your reassuring arm. Well, I like it because it means I get to be

on a podcast without having to actually know anything about football, which is very good today because it's about Tottenham, isn't it? And you know everything about Tottenham, and that's why you're here. Well, I mean, I feel like you've oversawed me to the point where I can't possibly not disappoint people now. But yeah, okay, we'll go with that.

That's my aim.

The reason we're doing this is because, well, partly because Pocitino has said a few interesting things in the last couple of days,

which you informed me before we started the podcast.

It might not actually be as interesting as I think they are, but we'll talk about that more.

But also, because Tottenham are now in a position where they seem kind of, in a fragile way, fixed in the top four, perennially just off the top two, right?

And when I put a question out to YouTube subscribers and people on Twitter asking for questions for this today, the main one that comes back over and over and over again is what on earth the Tottenham need to do to improve

their current position because I think you would agree that what Pocitino has done with the

squad, with the available resources in the current climate, is kind of incredible.

That's absolutely remarkable.

And the fact that we can talk about this a little bit more later, but removing one or two

elements from that, it feels like it could all sort of collapse.

I mean, this came up quite a lot when Marino lost his job because immediately there

was a lot of discussion about Pocitina being a long-term replacement.

Well, this morning, some quotes came out that maybe put heat of that for a while.

So he said, I hope or wish to be here 20 years and decide to leave or finish my career here, maybe.

A bit of a sort of a Ferguson thing maybe.

But previously this week, I think he said this at the same time, didn't he? But they released it two different times.

Can you explain that to me?
