On today's show, Pat is LIVE from Art McNally GameDay Central in NFL HQ in New York while AJ Hawk, Darius Butler, and the boys are live from the ThunderDome. We recap everything going on in the NBA and NHL playoffs, get a look inside the NFL replay process, and get a surprise drop in from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. In the first hour, we are joined by the NFL's Vice President of Replay, Mark Butterworth, who tells us about his path to head of Replay at the NFL, the calls that keep him up at night, what NFL Sunday is like for him, and more. Also in the first hour we are joined by 12x NBA Star Chris Paul to get his Top 3 storylines coming out of the last NBA playoff games, including how important tonight's game is for Wemby's Spurs, Donovan Mitchell refusing to be denied, and SGA showing why he's the reigning MVP of the league, and more. To close out the first hour, ESPN's NFL Senior Analyst Peter Schrager stops by to detail what makes him King of New York, what he loves most about the schedule release, the competition for the games between networks, Fernando Mendoza at Rookie Minicamp, and more. In the second hour, College GameDay Analyst & NFL on Prime Color Commentator Kirk Herbstreit drops by with his dog Peter to tell us why he's excited about the Jets and Chiefs this offseason, the expectations for Lane Kiffin in Baton Rouge, his early pick to win the National Championship, and more. Welcome to the Pat McAfee show. I'm A.J. Hawks sitting in at Pat's desk as he will be joining us from Midtown Manhattan. That's big time, boys. Yeah. That's the office of the NFL.

0:12.5

Sports. That's what we're doing, Pat. Obviously, you got a beautiful setup there. I know you're in Midtown Manhattan. I guess tell the people what you're doing, what's going on and what this setup is all about. AJ, thank you for traveling over there to

0:24.7

beautiful Indianapolis alongside the boys. Boys, Bruce, and I have certainly been big city boys for

0:30.3

about the last 12 hours or so. We certainly wish you were here, but obviously coming over here to

speak at Disney's Upfronts. Okay, Disney Upfronts is where all the advertising agencies in the world come and watch what your network is doing or planning on doing. Very lucky to be a part of it. The college game day boys and I are going to do our thing up there. Now, on that note, had to travel out here. We've been doing a lot of suity stuff. It's been a super suiting day, I shall say. And Bruce Brown is all the way big city suit and everything that he's got going. Actually, take a little looks here at Bruce. Wow. He took the jacket off. He took the jacket off. I have no idea if our logo is blown out like it looks like on our thing, but know that it is us and the NFL have come together

here. And this all came together pretty quickly because we're going to be in New York, and we're

1:16.3

going to potentially be at the home of where Disney's up fronts are, which is a beautiful place.

1:20.3

And then we reach out to the NFL. We're like, hey, can we do a show there? And one thing led to

1:24.3

another, we're at the R. McNally Game Day Central. Okay, this is where all the replays happen. This is where it all happens. There's a man named Mr. Butter. Okay, I've learned about him. Over the last few years, he has become the replay officianto. This is his actual desk that he used. It's normally placed over here. And then they've got workers watching every single game, and they have every single feed at every single game that they possibly have. Just kind of eyeball on everything. And it's a touchscreen back here. Mr. Butter will certainly come over here and explain more. But we're talking about eyes on every single game and getting a chance to kind of see how the operation flows and how it all works here rather quickly before we went live. It's just a dream come true.

Law power in this room.

This desk right here has made some decisions that have made some people happy and broke

2:11.7

some other's dreams.

2:13.4

There's a lot of power in here.

2:14.8

There's a lot of technology.

2:15.8

The future is obviously very evident here. And the NFL offices are absolutely beautiful. We're down here in Midtown. We took the 7 train down in the Grand Central Station. We're up in high street. Was that carbon last night? Stop by his DZ's Club. I gave praise at the Mecca to the Brunson boiler. I go down to Madison Square Garden today. We've been walking around.

2:35.1

I had a nice New York coffee at Starbucks. I've been doing it all.

2:40.1

Did a slice of Sparrow, too? That's right.

2:43.1

Genuine slice? If I seen Sparrow, which I did not, I would certainly stop by and get a

pepperoni. But you can tell the sense of city and sense of community seemingly back.

2:52.0

In sports, seemingly does that.

2:53.5

I wish we would have been here, and Nick's game could have potentially been tonight to close out if the 76ers didn't just get swept.
